About

At the age of seven, Robin Schoen became obsessed with makeup and the amazing transformation process that occurs when color is strategically applied to a face.

Throughout her teen years, Robin studied fashion magazines as if they were school books and practiced creating her favorite cover looks on her closest friends and family. In the mid eighties, at the height of creativity in the fashion industry, she traveled to Europe in search of inspiration; residing in Milan and Paris for 2 1/2 years. During this time, Robin honed her skills to directly reflect the radiant beauty of the women there. Skin that looks immaculate and transparent, choosing primarily creamy and luminous textures to ‘add light’ to the face, and seamlessly melting makeup into the skin are just a few examples of Robin’s most sought after trademarks.

For more than 30 years, Robin’s artistry has transformed the faces of some of the industry’s most celebrated women…Kate Winslet, Giselle Bundchen, Adriana Lima, Heidi Klum, Anja Rubik, Jessica Simpson, Donna Langley, Ashley Graham, Laura Benanti, Cristina Ehrlich, Kerry Russell, Carolyn Murphy, Jessica Biel, Elle Macpherson, and foreign royalty. Her diverse makeup range led to collaborations on prestigious cosmetic campaigns such as Urban Decay, Rimmel, Origins, Prescriptives, and Avon Global. Editorially, Robin’s work has graced the pages of many fashion and beauty magazines such as Harper’s Bazaar, W, Vogue Italia, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, In Style, Town & Country, Grazia, L’Official, and Glamour. She was chosen one of the INDUSTRY’S BEST by MAC Cosmetics and her creative body of work has been featured in Make-up Artist Magazine. In addition, Robin has led 6 master class presentations for MAC Cosmetics in New York City, Miami, and LA and lectured at the highly regarded Makeup Designory School (MUD) in NYC. Robin currently resides in New York City.
